Furthermore, we want to discuss the scope for public policy to level the playing field.<\/p>\n<p>Keynote lectures will be delivered by Paige Harden (Professor of Psychology, University of Texas at Austin) and Pia Pinger (Professor of Economics, University of Cologne).<\/p>\n<p>We encourage submissions from the following fields:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inter- and intragenerational social mobility<\/li>\n<li>Gene-environment interactions<\/li>\n<li>Human capital and skill formation<\/li>\n<li>Equality of Opportunity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We also welcome submissions from related strands of the literature. Preference is given to papers over abstracts. In particular, we strongly encourage Ph.D. students to participate. Submissions must be done electronically via <a href=\"https:\/\/ifo-cesifo-events.org\/frontend\/index.php?sub=52\">this link<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There is no participation fee.
