It is with great sadness that we that we announce the death of James Law, OBE, this October. James was Professor of Speech and Language Sciences at Newcastle University, UK, and project leader of Social InEquality and its Effects on child Development: A study of birth cohorts in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands (SEED).
In addition to leading the SEED project, James took an active role within the whole DIAL programme, including hosting one of DIAL’s internal workshops and being on the scientific organizing committee of the final conference.
